We absolutely love going to CKD Rivers Ave! The service is ALWAYS phenomenal and that office is a well oiled machine! We didn’t wait long and the staff is extremely patient. I have a son with Angelman Syndrome and I’m always apprehensive when we’re in doctors offices because he tends to wander around but not only are they professionals they are extremely patient! My hygienist was amazing and didn’t force us into lap to lap( which is extremely uncomfortable with a 50 lb 6 yr old) she was just patient and cleaned his teeth and right after Dr Kelly saw him and treated him with the same kindness and respect! Thank you all for always making us feel welcomed!

A great first appointment. I don't think there is any way to prepare a 1 year old child for the dentist, so there were tears, but it was a very quick clean and inspect. Lots of good info shared to ensure we stay on the correct side of my child's dental health. I'm looking forward to the next appointment.

We just had our first visit at Coastal Kids Dental & Braces for my 7-year-old, and it was fantastic! From the moment we entered, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making my child feel right at home. The dentist was amazing! They took the time to introduce themselves and explain everything in a way that my child could easily understand. It was reassuring to see how gentle and patient the dental hygienists were, as they made sure my little one was comfortable throughout the entire visit.

Very patient friendly. They tackled all three of my kids in less than an hour. The way they make children comfortable with coming to the dentist is great.

We switched to them after having a horrific experience with a previous pediatric dental office over 2 yrs that traumatized my child greatly, (She loved the dentist until after the 4th visit in less than 12 months) we now found our new dental home. We’ve only been with Coastal for 6 months but the patiences they have with the kids (and parents) is greatly appreciated! She’s coming back around of not being so fearful of the dentist office because of how gentle and caring they are with her and her teeth. I adore the staff and their professionalism. We’ll be sticking around for awhile.

My son had his first appointment last week and I am beyond impressed by the service and staff-my son felt very comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere is beautiful. I will also be sending my daughter to this practice as well because I was so impressed! Highly recommend!

We can’t say enough about this amazing dentist office. Coastal Kids Dental & Braces is a staple in Mount Pleasant and they have the coolest, most captivating set up that helps your child not be afraid and has the most energetic, kind staff that are outstanding with kids of all ages . They go above and beyond and my little one actually continually asks to go to the dentist and really looks forward to it!

Our son had 8 cavities that needed treatment, poor thing! We are evaluating with an ETA that he may have been open mouth sleeping. Dr Diane and assistant Tricia were AMAZING with him. I am so thankful for this practice!!! We will be back for regular cleanings too! Thank you Coastal Kids!

What a pleasant experience! Thank you to the entire staff for making my children excited to go to the dentist! I wish I could remember her name but the young lady that did our intake and X-rays was wonderful! She was super friendly and made my son very comfortable! 😊 🤩

Highly recommend! The staff is so incredibly friendly, from opening the front door for me with my two children in hand, to keeping my baby occupied while I was helping attend to my daughter. Most importantly, the staff was very informative and made my daughter’s first dental appointment go very smoothly!

They are so great with my daughter! She just turned 2 and has had 2 teeth cleanings (one before covid and one after) and an emergency appointment with a chipped tooth. Each time they were fast, informative and really seemed to care. I'm glad my daughter has had such a positive experience with the dentist.

Staff was great as usual with my special needs son. He doesn't really like anything about going to the dentist but they put us both at ease.

My son was having some pain in the lower back area of his mouth, we weren't sure the cause . We thought it may have been related to his wisdoms that was removed or maybe it didn't heal like it was suppose to. The took a look and right away they figured it out and came up with a solution to fix the problem. We just love them ❤️ 💕 💜 all. The front desk, the Dental Assistants, Dentist, & the Techs. They all have important things that they are responsible for, so put them all together and that's what completes that wonderful, office and that's what keeps us coming back and telling others

My 3 year old had an AMAZING first dentist experience here! They made him feel comfortable and met him on his level. Would totally recommend!

They were very good with my one year old he did amazing didn’t cry once I would definitely recommend them. They definitely made me less worried about his first appointment.

Always a good experience. I was surprised that all the patient chairs are in one room. Autistic kids may be overwhelmed, but they won my daughter over and were able to clean her teeth.
